To ensure a smooth and successful procedure, please review and follow the guidelines below:
Medications
- Disclose all medications, including over-the-counter and supplements.
- Stop blood thinners (e.g., Aspirin, Advil, NSAIDs) 7 days prior unless otherwise directed.
- Continue essential medications (e.g., heart or psychiatric drugs) on the day of surgery.
Hygiene
- Shower and wash your hair the night before or morning of surgery. Do not use hair products on the day of your procedure.
Hair Length
- Do not cut your hair before the procedure. We will trim the donor area on-site as needed.
Clothing
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
- Button-up or zip-up tops only—no shirts that go over the head.
Food & Drink
- Eat a light breakfast the morning of surgery; avoid caffeine.
- We will provide lunch during your visit.
Arrival & Transportation
- Arrive by 8:00 AM.
- You may drive yourself home, though bringing someone is optional.
- Notify us of any changes in health, medications, or recent illnesses prior to surgery.
